We got our temper-pedic bed last Friday! It’s so nice, and comfy. I have noticed a difference in how I feel when I wake up in the morning. Jeff notices a difference too. We spent the weekend picking out lamps and putting up our nightstands. The room is almost done, just need a few more pictures, maybe some artwork too.
We got the lamps at World Market, they were on sale!
We made the nights stands with some boards we bought at Lowe’s and some “L” brackets. I got Jeff to sand down the edges and the corners, then I painted it with a white tinted stain.
We decided that we didn’t have enough room to get a dresser, and we didn’t really want to spend the money on it either. So instead I picked up some baskets from Target that fit perfectly underneath the nightstands. Great storage.
I also changed the curtains a little bit. Originally I had some grey curtains, but after seeing how dark they looked against the dark grey walls, I decided to switch to some white linen ones.
Added a few little misc. accessories.

And we ordered 2 stools from Pottery Barn to go at the foot of the bed. I can’t wait till they come in!
What have you been up to this week? Tonight I’m going to a tasting at a shop that sells gourmet oils and cooking ingredients. Should be a yummy evening!
